— ABOUT
William9 is an international commercial director and filmmaker known for bold, cinematic storytelling, elevated comedy, and visually distinctive campaigns for global brands.
Blending classic cinematic craft with contemporary visual language, his entertainment-driven work is defined by unexpected framing, dynamic camera movement, inventive transitions, and bold visual ideas that feel fresh, distinctive, and memorable.
The result is commercial filmmaking that feels contemporary, stylish, playful, and built to entertain.
William9 does not simply execute an idea as written. He tests it, reshapes it, and places it under pressure until it becomes more distinctive, more memorable, and more alive on screen. That approach has made him a natural fit for brands looking for work that feels current without becoming disposable: cinematic but not conventional, funny without losing craft, visually elevated without becoming emotionally distant.
His body of work spans lifestyle, automotive, fashion, food and beverage, telecommunications, sport, retail, technology, and entertainment. He has directed campaigns for Fiat, McDonald’s, Sky, Netflix, TIM, Lavazza, Iliad, Leapmotor, Intimissimi Uomo, Pizza Hut, KFC, Yamaha, ING, Ferrero, Telepass, Aldi, Lidl, Estathé, and Very Mobile, among others.
William9 has worked with leading agencies and creative partners, including Leo Burnett, Havas, TBWA, Saatchi & Saatchi, Grey, Ogilvy, McCann, Monks, Armando Testa, We Are Social, Leagas Delaney, and Publicis. His international production experience continues to expand across Europe, the United States, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia.
Throughout his career, he has directed internationally recognized performers, athletes, and personalities, including Scarlett Johansson, Gerard Butler, Monica Bellucci, Kylie Minogue, Jannik Sinner, Alessandra Ambrosio, Bianca Balti, Ethan Peck, and others.
William9’s work has received recognition from ADCE, Clio, Epica, New York Festivals, The One Show, ADCI, and other international advertising organizations.
He began his career in fashion, directing stylized films for brands including Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Hugo Boss. That early foundation remains visible in the visual polish, color, casting, and production design that define his work today.
At the center of William9's work is a belief that advertising should be as entertaining as the stories people choose to watch. Rather than simply communicating a message, he looks for the unexpected angle, the visual twist, or the comedic tension that transforms a commercial into an experience audiences genuinely enjoy.
Bold, contemporary, and rhythm-driven, his work turns commercial ideas into cinematic worlds with their own internal logic and usually a little more color than reality originally intended.
